A series of trainings on cognitive-processual therapy for school psychologists who work with with displaced Ukrainians and other vulnerable groups was conducted by the advocacy specialist of the NGO "Communities Self-Help", psychologist Marta Pyvovarenko

Marta Pyvovarenko, Emergency Aid Advocacy Officer of the NGO "Communities Self-Help" conducted a series of trainings "Cognitive-processing therapy for school psychologists working with displaced Ukrainians and other vulnerable groups". These experts will in turn work with displaced Ukrainians and other vulnerable groups in Ivano-Frankivsk and Zakarpattia oblasts. Participants of the trainings are learning effective methods of working with psychological traumas caused by war, and practical techniques for helping those going through this challenging experience.

Together with the NGO "Communities Self-Help", the Wayne State University School of Social Work (USA), and the company “Clairpointe Family Therapy” (USA), and with the financial support of the Government of Canada, the training was organized by UNDP under the UN Recovery and Peacebuilding Programme.
