Global Course on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) for Professionals Supporting Children

The Global Course on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) for Professionals Supporting Children is a comprehensive training program designed to strengthen the practical skills of professionals working with children and families affected by war, displacement, loss, and other crisis situations.

The course is based on internationally recognized MHPSS approaches and has been adapted to the Ukrainian context through collaboration between international and Ukrainian experts.

The program brings together psychologists, social workers, educators, police officers, emergency responders, humanitarian workers, and other professionals supporting children and families in crisis-affected communities.

In addition to training activities, the initiative includes Training of Trainers (ToT) programs, professional supervision, development of a national trainer network, collaboration with universities, and integration of MHPSS competencies into educational and professional systems across Ukraine.

The long-term goal is to establish a sustainable national network of professionals and trainers capable of providing high-quality psychosocial support to children and families throughout Ukraine.
